I just happen to be blessed by God to be really good at kicking a funny-shaped ball between two yellow posts.

It's definitely a blessing, but you don't think about it a ton, because once you win the AFC Championship game - now you're in the Super Bowl and you're focused on that game.

I don't care if you have a big bank account or you fly private. In the end, no matter how much money you attain, none of it will matter if you are alone and devoid of purpose.

I'm making kicks because God wants me to have a platform, at least for right now, to share this message of faith, of growing in virtue, of growing closer to the sacraments and of being a saint.

You miss some kicks and you realize, "OK, my identity can't be all as a football player." So I grew a lot in my prayer life knowing that I'm nothing without Him and I gotta lean on Him, and if He wants to take anything away from me, He can. And if He wants to add anything, He can. It's all up to Him.

I always pray for God's will to be done.

I may have fears about it - I might have pressure - but I know I'm a child of God and He's gonna protect me. And maybe that protection comes with some suffering, but that's what's best for me and I gotta accept that suffering and grow as best I can with that.

If I didn't have faith in God, I don't think I'd be the father I am, the husband I am, the kicker I am. That kind of sets the tone for everything else and everything falls under that, but that gives me the strength to go do everything I need to do.

The Latin Mass has been the Mass for the past 1500 years that all these great saints went to. They were saying the same Latin prayers. It's just very beautiful, you know? I feel very united.

Congrats to the Kansas City Chiefs, MVP Patrick Mahomes, Coach Reid, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, Mecole Hardman, and the rest of the champs for another Lombardi Trophy. Grace under pressure.

It feels great. I'm telling you, I blacked out when I caught the ball, though.

I love these guys right here. The men that we just won this thing with, family forever, baby. I couldn't be more proud of you guys. We get a chance to do it three times in a row!

Just know that the Kansas City Chiefs are never underdogs. Just know that.

First of all, I want to congratulate Andy, the football team, our coaching staff on an incredible performance. It's been an amazing five-year run. I want to thank the Lord for giving us this opportunity. Watching today's game I couldn't help but think of my parents and how proud they would be of this football team. At their heart, they were the biggest Chiefs' fans in the world and they would love celebrating another world championship with the best fans in the NFL, Chiefs Kingdom!

The job's not done. Our job now is to prepare ourselves to play a good football team in Super Bowl and try to get that ring.

Next time the Chiefs say something, put some respect on our name!

Coming from a small town it was tough to dream big. When I grew up in a small town in Georgia, my biggest dream was one day to be able to go to Atlanta.

You really cannot set a standard, because Georgia is my home state, my home team. No other team can match what Georgia can offer. Schools cannot really match that, so that is an edge for Georgia.

The ridiculousness of thinking that some sort of global Illuminati wrote down their plot for killing of 95 % of humanity on a giant granit post-it note and left their secret plan somewhere no conservative would ever find it: rural Georgia.

In Texas, it's football. In Georgia, football. There's an appreciation from the average person about football more than anywhere else. And we have that for basketball in New York. And we'll always have that in New York.

I ask all Americans with a conscience to shun anything and everything to do with the murderous state of Georgia.

For one, the 'countryness' is pretty much in my blood. I'm from Georgia, down south. That voice just lives in me.

I like football. I find its an exciting strategic game. Its a great way to avoid conversation with your family at Thanksgiving.

It's a team sport. We knew we had a half left. The boys on defense took care of business.

It's like, we had what we wanted right in front of us, so you have to clean the slate, you have to have a clean mind, and not try to force anything, take what the defense gives you, and find a way.

Quick funny story: I threw a touchdown to this dude to end the game. And he looked at me and he had no idea. I said, "Dude, we just won the Super Bowl!"

He's a special player, man. When the lights get brighter, he plays better. That's the true mark of a champion and that's what he is.

It's been a long year to get to this point and we got it done today. We can't wait to get to Vegas!

Brock, he made some big plays in this game. Missed a couple, but leading us down on our last drive and getting the win, that's all I can ask for.

I'm the top receiver in the game. There's no question about it.

I feel like as a receiver, you have to expect the unexpected. No matter where the ball is, it's your job to catch it. The quarterback has done all the hard parts. He got the ball out of his hands. He made checks. He did everything else. Now it's you. Just understanding that everything is not going to go as planned and the ball is not going to be where it needs to be all the time. Prepare myself for the worst, and when the best happens, it feels great.

I'll get to the point right away. I'm retiring. For good. You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine out last year.
