Harold Bloom (geboren 11. Juli 1930 in New York City; gestorben 14. Oktober 2019 in New Haven, Connecticut) war ein amerikanischer Literaturwissenschaftler und -kritiker. Er galt weithin als der berühmteste amerikanische Literaturkritiker seiner Generation, international fand er durch die in den 1980er Jahren ausgetragenen Kanon-Debatten Aufmerksamkeit.
