Ennio Morricone (* 10. November 1928 in Rom; † 6. Juli 2020 ebenda) war ein italienischer Komponist, Dirigent und Oscarpreisträger. Er arbeitete auch unter den Pseudonymen Dan Savio und Leo Nichols und komponierte die Musik für mehr als 500 Filme.
