Boris Nikolajewitsch Jelzin (* 1. Februar 1931 in Butka, Ural-Oblast (heute Rajon Taliza, Oblast Swerdlowsk); † 23. April 2007 in Moskau) war ein sowjetischer bzw. russischer Politiker. Von 1991 bis 1999 war er der erste Präsident Russlands.
